Milwaukee Bucks: How They Choked vs. Denver
By Max Marcilla
Second Quarter:
The hot shooting start continued into the second quarter, but it was the Greivis Vasquez show at the Pepsi Center.
Entering the evening shooting under 25 percent, Vasquez lit up the scoreboard in the second, making 5-of-7 shots and 2-of-3 from beyond the arc. The former Maryland Terrapin, who only averaged 7.6 shot attempts per game, was as confident as he has ever been as a Buck.
However, Milwaukee failed to increase their lead by much as Denver caught fire too. They wrapped up the period shooting 60 percent, including four three-point shots. However, despite the slight defensive struggles, the Bucks still led 64-53 at the half.
