Three Point Shooting Still A Problem

Although the addition of Hezonja, inserting Fournier into the starting line-up and the emergence of Payton’s more dependable shooting, early on it looks like three-point shooting could once again be an issue this season. As a team they’re shooting a poor 29 percent, which puts them 25th in the league.

Again it’s early in the season so take those numbers with a pinch of salt, but it’s hard to see them making a big leap in what is an important category.

Perhaps if this number was only a bit better, this team would be looking at having a win to their name. The blame needs to be shared as well, with Tobias Harris, who has started this season brightly shooting 28 percent from downtown. Oladipo is currently posting an even worse 22 percent, while Hezonja’s 50 percent is misleading as he’s only taken four shots in those two games.

Despite this however, you have to feel that this team’s first win isn’t too far away. Never has an 0-2 record felt so promising.
