While much was made of a potential playoff run for the Orlando Magic heading into the new season, their campaign so far has a familiar feel to it. The team is yet to win a game, although it would be harsh to say that this roster looks the same as last season.

Guys like Elfrid Payton and Victor Oladipo clearly got better this summer, while some faces that were buried on the bench a year ago are having a more prominent role on this team to date.

Although it’s still too early to see any trends that may be developing for this team, here are some thoughts on how this team is doing and where it could be headed as we roll into November. As you’ll see, there’s much to like about the direction this team is going in. It’s also hard to not be excited about what this team could be in the near future as well.
