Julius Randle Asserts Himself
For a kid who had yet to complete a regular-season NBA game, Randle came into the game versus Minnesota with a ton of confidence. He left leaving fans more hopeful than ever before that he can be a cornerstone of the future.
Randle finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds in the loss, and had a few of his signature attack moments that make him so exciting. Though he struggled from the field (5-of-13 shooting), the young forward brought one thing to the table that made his game memorable: attitude.
After Kevin Garnett – one of the game’s most notorious trash talkers – attempted to get into Randle’s head, the rookie responded by dishing it right back at him.
