The Utah Jazz last season had an outside chance to make the NBA playoffs. Even though the team put in a lot of effort and hard work during the second half of the year by going 19-10 after the All-Star break, including a six-game winning streak, their effort in the second half of the year wasn’t enough to overcome their shortcomings at the beginning.

The good news is though is that last year is finished. This year though Utah can continue to stay on the trailblazing path they were on last year and soon enough the franchise won’t have to worry about who they’re going to pick in the draft lottery. However, unlike last year, there are five teams that will have a deciding factor on Utah’s playoff hopes.
