Verdict

Vucevic is going to be great again this year, all while posting career highs in rebounding, assists and (hopefully) defensive efficiency. It’s possible his scoring output dips a little, if only because guys like Harris and Hezonja will be able to help pile up the points. To do so they will need some of Vucevic’s touches as well, but that’s the beauty of the big man.

He’s got the right attitude and is never in the media for the wrong reasons.

He’s the ideal center in that respect. Happy to do the dirty work while quietly getting his on the offensive end as well. Even if he’s less involved with the scoring, it won’t have a negative effect on everything else he does for this team. This may finally be the season casual fans begin to sit up and take notice, but an All-Star nod seems a step too far.

Nevertheless, it’s going to be Vucevic’s best year yet as a pro and the Orlando Magic’s most consistent player.
