Small Forward – Roger Brown

Roger Brown played for the Pacers back in the ABA days. Brown played eight seasons in the ABA for the Pacers, bringing three championships to Indiana. In 2013, he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Not many today may know the impact Brown had while he starred for the Pacers. Some addition accolades include being a four-time ABA All-Star, ABA record holder of 21 field goals in a row, and the Pacers’ all-time ABA point leader (12,118).

Brown averaged 17.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 3.8 assists throughout his career. There is no question he belongs on the all-time starting five. He could score from anywhere on the floor, but was most effective when he had the ball 15-20 feet away from the basket. Some regarded him as being the most difficult player to guard in isolation situations when he was in his prime.
