 Shooting Guard- Reggie Miller

Reggie Miller is the most obvious selection in the starting five. He played his entire 18-year career with Indiana, and is easily the best player to have ever put on a Pacers jersey. Miller is arguably the best shooter that the game will ever see. He currently ranks second to Ray Allen for most career three-point field goals. Miller’s nickname, “The Knick Killer,” came from his most famous performance of his career when he scored eight points in 8.9 seconds to defeat the Knicks in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Throughout his 18-year career, Miller averaged 18.2 points, three rebounds, and three assists. Miller leads the majority of statistical categories in Pacers’ history including games, minutes, points, and field goals made. He fits in the category of players that should’ve won a championship in the 90’s, but always had to go head-to-head against the great Michael Jordan. Miller’s jersey now hangs in the rafters at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, to remind people who will always be the best Pacer in the franchise’s history.
