8. Steve Nash

Steve Nash is often recognized for how incredible a facilitator he was with the Phoenix Suns. What’s overlooked is how dominantly efficient he was as a shooter during each of his NBA tenures.

Many baselessly criticize the lack of volume without realizing Nash is No. 15 on the all-time 3-point field goals made list.

No. 15 may not seem too incredible, but the number is met by an obscene career 3-point field goal percentage of 42.8. He was also a career 90.4 percent shooter from the free throw line—No. 1 all-time.

Those numbers speak volumes.

According to Basketball-Reference.com, Nash has the second-highest 3-point field goal percentage of any player with at least 1,500 3-point field goals made. That’s especially impressive when one considers how often he handled the ball and created his own offense.

A four-time member of the 50-40-90 club—two more appearances than any other player in NBA history—Nash is one of the best shooters ever.
