Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the most intriguing players in NBA history. His combination of size, skill and athleticism is comparable to very few who have ever graced the hardwood.

In 2014-15, the 20-year-old began to show how good he could one day be.

Antetokounmpo stands at just under 6’11”, yet comfortably works the perimeter on both ends. His dribble penetration skills were on full display in 2014-15, as was his court vision, rebounding and defensive upside.

In almost every sense of the word, Antetokounmpo progressed.

In 2013-14, Antetokounmpo averaged 11.1 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.2 assists per 40 minutes with a true shooting percentage of .518 and a turnover ratio of 15.7. In 2014-15, those numbers jumped to 16.2 points, 8.2 rebounds and 3.3 assists with a true shooting percentage of .552 and a turnover ratio of 13.2.

If Antetokounmpo can develop a better understanding of the defensive schematics and make his jumpers with any measure of consistnecy, anything will be possible for the Milwaukee Bucks’ rising star.
