14. Andrew Wiggins, Minnesota Timberwolves

Position: Guard/Forward

Age: 20

2014-15 Slash Line: .437/.310/.760

2014-15 Season Averages: 36.2 MPG, 16.9 PPG, 4.6 RPG, 2.1 APG, 1.0 SPG

Accolades: Rookie of the Year, All-Rookie First Team

The Minnesota Timberwolves have landed the No. 1 overall NBA Draft pick in consecutive years. Karl-Anthony Towns has yet to play a game in the NBA, but Andrew Wiggins proved himself during his rookie season.

You can’t do much more than run away with Rookie of the Year.

The hurdle moving forward for Wiggins is a difficult one: he’s a shooting guard playing out of position. Kevin Martin certainly earned his starting role by averaging 20.0 points per game, but Wiggins excelled when he moved over to the 2.

With Zach LaVine and Ricky Rubio on the same roster, it could take some significant time before Wiggins makes the move.

In 2014-15, Wiggins averaged 19.1 points on a slash line of .472/.368/.748 in 22 starts at shooting guard. In 60 starts at small forward, he put up 16.1 points per game on a slash line of .422/.261/.763 at small forward.

Regardless of where he lines up, Wiggins has an incredibly bright future.
