Best Case Scenario

Markieff Morris discovers joy and happiness in the Valley of the Sun, lets bygones be bygones and moves forward after a turbulent summer. T.J. Warren turns into a legitimate shooting threat on the wings and rookie Devin Booker provides solid punch for the second unit. The backcourt tandem of Eric Bledsoe and Brandon Knight is able to more than offset any defensive deficiencies with offensive dominance and the Suns cruise into the playoffs after two straight near-misses.

Worst Case Scenario

Morris gets the trade he’s demanding, but Phoenix is only able to recoup 20 cents on the dollar due to the over-a-barrel nature of their negotiating position. The Suns run through a plethora of would-be replacements at the 4, but find themselves getting exposed on a nightly basis while trying to match up with the elite power forwards in the West such as Anthony Davis, LaMarcus Aldridge, Blake Griffin and the like. As 48 wins turned into 39 last season, 39 turns into a struggle to get to 30 in 2015-16.
