5. Oklahoma State vs. Auburn

Thanks to the wonderful job from Bruce Pearl, Auburn has finally become an SEC team that will be a lot of fun to watch. 

This game, in fact, is getting the primetime treatment because it’ll be played at 7 p.m. on ESPN2. We’ll get to see if Oklahoma State’s point guard Phil Forte will be able to put up a fight against Auburn.

Pearl has rebuilt this team and has hit the recruiting trail hard because in less than a year he managed to nab four four-star athletes to play. Danjel Purifoy, Trayvon Reed, Horace Spencer, and T.J. Dunans will all make a big impact during their freshman season. In addition, it doesn’t hurt to have Cinmeon Bowers back for his senior year.

The 6’7″ power forward is a huge problem in the interior and he’ll be looking to average a double-double for his senior year. This game could be the coming out party to the national audience, not only for Bowers but for the Auburn basketball program.
