9. Giannis Antetokounmpo

The Greek Freak is coming, and his arrival is going to be glorious in the most monstrous way possible. Last season, 20-year-old Giannis Antetokounmpo stepped up his averages from 6.8 points and 4.4 rebounds per game as a rookie to 12.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game as a sophomore. He even boosted his field goal percentage by nearly eight points to 49.1 percent shooting.

It’s only a matter of time before this youngster develops into a franchise player, but will his third season be the one that sees him transform into something spectacular? No one’s expecting an All-Star season or anything like that, and his temper became something of a problem at times last year (just ask Mike Dunleavy).

But if Angry Antetokounmpo doesn’t overshadow the Greek Freak’s skills, that competitive streak could help him develop sooner rather than later. The arrival of Greg Monroe will take some touches away from everyone on offense, but the Greek Freak should continue to move toward his incredibly high ceiling under Jason Kidd in 2015-16.
