The Toronto Raptors have some big questions to answer this upcoming season. They retooled most of the roster, with a focus on defense and a bit more of a grit and grind feel. But because of this retooling, it’s hard to tell where the Raps stand in the Eastern Conference.

Indeed, most people seem to have them making the playoffs, but just barely. This coming even after their fourth seed placing last season. Why are people so concerned about the Raptors’ ability?

If you’re Canadian, the answer is simple: they all just hate Canada! Or so I’ve been told. Of course, that’s how every fan base seems to work. A couple shots fired at the franchise and folks come after you like rabid wolverines.

It’s not wrong to question a team like Toronto though, especially when they have yet to prove anything significant. But that’s what this season will be for. There are a ton of questions to be asked (and hypothetically answered) before the new season begins. Here are five that you may have been thinking yourself.
