4. Elijah Millsap

One of the moves that Dennis Lindsey should still be getting commended for is the signing of Elijah Millsap. Last season Lindsey found Millsap in the NBA’s Developmental League and he’s been nothing but an excellent pickup for their roster.

The Jazz are a defensive-oriented team and Millsap fits the mold of the team perfectly. As a defense-first type of player, Millsap brought a lot of energy and hustle on that side of the basketball. We regularly got to see Millsap guard the best offensive players in the game and give them trouble.

If Millsap can consistently make his open jump shots next year, Utah’s going to have a tremendous season from the second-year small forward. View Millsap as a Bruce Bowen kind of player; someone who’s going to make timely shots but more importantly, give maximum effort in stopping the best player.
