Best Single-Game Performance: Devin Booker (Phoenix Suns)

Booker got off to a rough start in his NBA debut, but the Phoenix Suns‘ No. 13 pick didn’t take long to get back on track.

In Las Vegas’ semifinals, Booker exploded for 31 points while drilling five 3-pointers and grabbing nine boards. The big-time performance lifted the Suns to a 93-87 victory over the Pelicans and earned them a trip to the Las Vegas Summer League Finals.

Overall, Booker averaged 15 points and five rebounds in seven games played in Las Vegas. More importantly, he flashed his elite shooting with a 40 percent 3-point percentage, despite missing his first eight attempts.

For Suns fans, Booker’s explosive outing is hopefully one of many to come. He may play a limited role for the Suns in his rookie year, but his lethal shooting and defensive potential should earn him a big role in due time.
