Alonzo Gee

The Lakers are headed by Byron Scott, who also coached Alonzo Gee during his early years with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Gee posted a career-high of 10 points per game over the two years under Scott. Last season, Gee was rumored to be on the team’s radar.

Gee finished the season with the Portland Trail Blazers after a trade from the Denver Nuggets. The good news is that Gee will likely command a minimum contract which the team can offer, along with a shot as a starter. The team is looking for energy and athleticism on their roster, and these are two of Gee’s stronger traits.
