2. Brandan Wright

There has been rumors that the Wizards are targeting Wright in hopes for him to add athleticism to their lineup. Wright has the versatility to play power forward and center, which would make him available to start or come off the bench at either position. He isn’t the guy that is going to stretch the floor, but he can guard stretch fours which the Wizards have struggled with for years.

Wright is a defensive presence and with his length, he is an above average shot blocker. He is similar to Nene, but is younger and more athletic. if the Wizards decide to trade Nene and sign Wright, they would still be upgrading at the position. Last season he averaged 7.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks per game.
