Ranking The Top 30 Players In Big 12 History
By Cody Daniel
30. Venson Hamilton, Nebraska (1997-99)
Venson Hamilton only spent three seasons at Nebraska before heading to the NBA, but what he accomplished in that time was enough to land Hamilton in the No. 30 spot on the Big 12 all-time rankings.
Hamilton nearly averaged a double double over the span of three seasons with 12.6 points and 9.5 rebounds. During his final year on campus, which turned out to be a monster year for Hamilton, the 6’10” big man averaged 15.7 points and 10.2 boards en route to Big 12 Player of the Year honors and a spot on the Big 12 All-Defensive Team.
