Chicago Bulls retain Mike Dunleavy on 3-year deal
According to a report, forward Mike Dunleavy has agreed to a three-year, $14.4 million contract to remain with the Chicago Bulls, where he has played the last two seasons.
Yahoo Sports reported the agreement.
Dunleavy returned to Chicago even as reports were circulating that LeBron James was interested in having the 34-year-old come to Cleveland.
The 13-year veteran averaged 9.4 points and 3.9 rebounds in 63 games for the Bulls last season and shot 40.7 percent from 3-point range.
He had previously signed a two-year deal with the Bulls in July 2013 after spending two seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks.
The third overall pick in the 2002 NBA Draft, Dunleavy has also played with the Golden State Warriors and Indiana Pacers.
