Report: New York Knicks, Derrick Williams agree to terms
One of the NBA’s most disappointing teams of the last couple of seasons has agreed to terms with one of the league’s most disappointing young players, according to a report.
The New York Knicks and former No. 2 overall pick Derrick Williams have agreed to terms on a two-year, $10 million contract, according to a report.

Williams averaged 8.3 points and 2.7 rebounds in 19.8 minutes per game for the Sacramento Kings last season, shooting .447/.314/.684.
The Minnesota Timberwolves took the former Arizona star second overall in 2011 before trading him to the Kings early in the 2013-14 season.
A classic “tweener” forward at 6-foot-8 and 241 points, Williams has proven to slow to play the wing and too small to play the power forward thus far in his career.
