NBA: Top 25 Free Agents
Honorable Mention: Louis Williams, UFA
In 2014-15, a career of tragedy and triumph reached its point of redemption. Louis Williams, who tore his ACL in January of 2013, scored a career-best 15.5 points per game.
Most importantly, Williams won Sixth Man of the Year.
Efficiency and statistics will never tell the tale for a sixth man. The role is inherently designed for players to come onto the floor and shoot their team to the top, thus increasing the level of forgiveness for inefficiency.
Williams is as great a gunner as any in the NBA. A general manager, no matter which city they’re from, will have money available for Sweet Lou.
