NBA: Top 25 Free Agents
9. Goran Dragic, UFA
UPDATE: Goran Dragic has agreed to a five-year, $90 million contract with the Miami Heat.
In 2013-14, Goran Dragic burst onto the scene by winning Most Improved Player and being named to the All-NBA Third Team. In 2014-15, his role declined as a deep backcourt got even more crowded with Isaiah Thomas‘ arrival.
Assuming he plays the role of the primary ball-handler, Dragic can return to his All-NBA ways.
Even in what was perceived as a down year in 2014-15, Dragic averaged 16.3 points on 50.1 percent shooting from the field. He’s also a gifted facilitator who’s capable of running an offense.
Whichever team lands Dragic should see a spike in offensive efficiency.
