NBA: Top 25 Free Agents
16. Brook Lopez, UFA
UPDATE: Brook Lopez has agreed to a three-year, $60 million contract with the Brooklyn Nets.
When healthy, Brook Lopez is one of the very best centers in the NBA. He’s a consistent threat for 20 points a night, blocks shots with the best in the association and is a very underrated pick-and-roll scorer.
Any team that signs him will know the injury risk, but it’ll also reap the benefits of his presence.
Lopez, an All-Star in 2013, averaged 17.2 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in just 29.2 minutes during the 2014-15 season. It marked his sixth consecutive campaign with an average of 17.0 points or better—injuries or not.
An important note: Lopez has played at least 72 games in five of his seven NBA seasons.
