NBA: Top 25 Free Agents
17. Enes Kanter, RFA
Upon joining the Oklahoma City Thunder, Enes Kanter quickly showed the world why he was a Top 5 pick in 2011. He averaged 18.7 points and 11.0 rebounds in 26 games as Russell Westbrook‘s right-hand man.
There are still question marks surrounding Kanter’s ascension to stardom, but it’s hard to imagine Oklahoma City allowing him to walk.
There’s clear value in having a 6’11” and 245-pound center with skill and tenacity on the boards. Kanter needs to show up defensively, but his offensive game is impossible to ignore.
Kanter should see a significant chunk of money from his potential destination.
