Free agency is hours away. The Los Angeles Lakers are loaded with cap room, and will look to continue the roster makeover that began with the 2015 NBA Draft.

If you go on the internet often, you may have noticed that the Lakers are connected to nearly every attractive free agent out there. Part of that is agents using Los Angeles as leverage. The other part is that the Lakers literally need so many things that they might actually be interested in every eligible free agent.

For fans, it means a ton of information to process. Sifting through the piles of rumors can grow tiresome after a while, and eventually they all start to look the same.

This piece serves as a guide for some of the more prominent names linked to the Lakers over the last few months.

Before we get into the list, here’s another one that features players that got left out.

  • Rajon Rondo: Drafting D’Angelo Russell makes signing Rondo an unlikely scenario. Laker fans can breathe a sigh of relief here.
  • Goran Dragic: The Lakers offering Dragic the max money he’s looking for would be surprising. Dragic joining the Lakers after they drafted a guard would be even more surprising.
  • Kosta Koufos: If the Lakers don’t get one of their top free agent targets, Koufos could be an interesting pick up. He could sign somewhere else to be a surefire starter before that time.
  • Caron Butler: The Lakers might be interested in him. Seriously. But how much would he even play? Just doesn’t make much sense.

And with that, on to the Los Angeles Lakers 2015 Free Agency Primer!
