The dust has settled on the 2015 NBA Draft, with many winners and losers coming out of the league’s most stressful night.
One of the winners — in many people’s book — happened to be the Phoenix Suns. General Manager Ryan McDonough decided to snag another John Calipari guard from Kentucky, taking Devin Booker with the 13th pick in the draft. Most were surprised that Booker fell past the Charlotte Hornets (a team that needs shooting) at No. 9, and then the Indiana Pacers at No. 11.
Nonetheless, Booker joins the shrine of Kentucky talent that includes Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Knight, and Archie Goodwin.
Today, we caught up with HoopsHabit’s own Gerald Bourguet to discuss the positives of drafting Booker. Bourguet is one of the lead editors at HoopsHabit, but also covers Phoenix for Valley Of The Suns, a prominent website on our network.
