3. Anthony Brown

Tyler Harvey and Michael Frazier II both project to be excellent shooters at the next level, but if you’re looking for a perimeter player more in the Warriors’ draft range, Standford’s Anthony Brown is that guy. For those Dubs fans wondering what Brown can do for you, he nailed 44.1 percent of his 4.8 three-point attempts per game last season for the Cardinal.

At 6’7″, he has excellent size for his position at the 2-spot, especially when you throw in his massive 6’11” wingspan. Brown is an great perimeter defender, which is a necessary trait to earn rotation minutes with Steve Kerr‘s league-leading defense. He needs to get stronger, but that tends to be true of 75 percent of rookies these days.

Between his size, his three-point shooting and his terrific defense, it’s not unreasonable to think Anthony Brown could not only spread the floor off the bench, but develop the kind of positional versatility that defines this team as well.
