Nickola Radicevic, Serbia

Radicevic is a 6’5 left-handed point guard from Serbia who is trying to make a name for himself this off-season. At just 21-years old, NBA teams will have the option to keep him overseas for a couple of years before taking him on the active roster, which Wizards GM Ernie Grunfeld loves to do.

He’s a fundamental point guard who has a great feel for the game. With his size, it makes it easy for him to look over the defense and make plays for his team. Radicevic’s scoring ability is shaky, but he can dissect the pick-and-roll game very well for his age. This year playing in the Eurocup, he shot 39 percent from three-point territory, which is an improvement from his 26 percent in previous leagues.

The Wizards have always had a knack for selecting overseas players and stashing them for the future, even though none have panned out. With the history of the Wizards, don’t count Radicevic out completely for a second-round selection.
