1. They Only Need One Road Win

Even if you don’t buy into the notion that LeBron James will continue to shoot this poorly, even if you believe that Curry will continue to struggle with his three-point shot against Cleveland’s imposing defense and even if you aren’t buying into David Lee as the potential savior, every single game has been undeniably close.

If that trend continues, all it takes is one road win in Game 4 and suddenly the narrative for this series gets flipped upside down again. The Cavs have outplayed the Warriors for the majority of this series, but we still haven’t seen Golden State play their brand of basketball.

Some of that has to do with Cleveland’s excellent defense, but a lot of it has to do with the Warriors not being ready for the moment and missing a lot of open shots they normally make. One night of reverting back to the norm that was established over 97 games leading up to these Finals could help the Dubs reclaim home-court advantage.

The pressure is on in a must-win Game 4. That popular “Warriors in 5” pick isn’t happening, but the Dubs still have a fighting chance. A lot needs to change (A.K.A. Barnes and Green shooting better than a combined 2-for-18 from the field, Andrew Bogut pulling his head out of his ass, etc.), but this team still has the makings of a championship-caliber group.

This is the time to step up and prove it.
