So while Skiles was an excellent choice, there will always be those who feel a different name should have been hired. Perhaps looking to the college ranks could have been another approach to this important decision. Regardless the decision has been made now, and here is one final thing to consider as Skiles begins his tenure.

Is it fair to say this may be the most pressure filled job he’s ever taken? It may sound strange given that this is still a team with relatively modest expectations. They haven’t cracked 30 wins in a season in three years now. But the time to make a move is now, and Skiles was absolutely brought in to be the guy to that. Think he’s up to the challenge?
