In NBA drafts throughout history, it is usually the No. 1 and 2 pick that get most of the spotlight and attention. However, they are not always the picks that have the most impact on which ever franchise drafts them. The draft this year offers a similar situation.

Karl-Anthony Towns and Jahlil Okafor are the topic of discussion as we approach June 26. A lot has also been made of the New York Knicks drawing the 4th overall pick in the draft lottery despite having the worst record for most of the season until they won their last three of six games that put them one game ahead of the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The vibe is that New York will have no chance to get one of the popular names such as Towns, Okafor, or D’Angelo Russell, but the biggest names don’t always have the biggest impacts. Looking back, there are plenty of No. 4 picks that have become superstars in the NBA, even still today.

Here are the top 10 No. 4 picks in the history of the NBA Draft.
