Last night, the Atlanta Hawks‘ 2014-15 season came to a thoroughly unsatisfactory conclusion at the hands of LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. In a 30-point blowout loss, the Hawks were basically waving the white flag in the second quarter, ultimately dropping Game 4, and the series, in a disappointing sweep.

As the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference, the Hawks made a lot of people wonder if we’d been duped during the regular season. Was this team ever really all that good? Had they just fallen apart at the wrong time? Or was King James just that much more dominant?

These are all valid questions, but there are certainly more pressing ones facing a depressed Hawks fan base heading into the offseason.

With Kyle Korver, Paul Millsap and DeMarre Carroll all banged up, there are questions about injuries. With the Cavs missing Kevin Love for the whole series and sporting a banged up Kyrie Irving, there are questions about how good the Hawks can actually be. But most of all, there are questions about where this once mighty 60-win team should go from here.

In order to put a temporary stop to all the paranoia-induced pondering, it’s time to take a look at what happened in the Eastern Conference Finals and attempt to answer the five biggest questions facing the Hawks this summer.
