2. The Finals Aren’t Moving Up

There were rumors that if both the Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers swept their respective series in the conference finals, the NBA might consider moving up the start date of the 2015 NBA Finals from Jun. 4. But before last night’s game even tipped off, those rumors were put to bed.

After watching Stephen Curry take that frightening tumble to the floor, Warriors fans are probably feeling pretty thankful for a few extra days off between this series and the next series.

Now, to be fair, it’s not guaranteed that the Dubs advance; there’s still work to be done in Game 5 to wrap up this series, and we caught a glimpse last night of how fast an injury can change everything.

But assuming this 67-win juggernaut can continue the historic trend of a playoff team never losing a series after building a 3-0 lead, the Dubs will be thankful for any extra rest they can get their team heading into the Finals.
