Nine down, seven to go.

Last night, the Golden State Warriors protected their home-court advantage in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals, outlasting the Houston Rockets with a 110-106 victory. The win moved the Dubs to an astounding 44-3 at Oracle Arena this season and pulled them within three wins of the NBA Finals.

But as much as Twitter enjoyed posting 30,000 Vines every time Stephen Curry swished a ridiculous three, the Rockets hung tough and showed far more resilience than most people cared to notice.

After a narrow Game 1 victory, can the Warriors improve? Or are the Dubs in for a tough series against this Houston team that they swept during the regular season?
