Cleveland Cavaliers: Eastern Conference Finals Preview
By Joshua Howe
David Blatt said that the two best teams (in the East) are playing in the Eastern Conference Finals. I suppose he’s right.
Despite all the injuries, scares and surprises the Cleveland Cavaliers have faced, they’ve made it to the end of the Eastern tunnel. There is light on the other side.
Standing in their way? The Atlanta Hawks. Spurs East.
They’ve gone through their own hardships this postseason and survived it all. They dropped two dang games (!!!) to Brooklyn. Talk about a scare. But here they are, and they aren’t blinking.
I didn’t want to cover this preview alone, so I brought in Hawks fan and expert Adam McGee to aid me in my look ahead at what’s sure to be an exciting and crazy series. His responses are going to preceded by his initials (AM) and my responses with my own (JH).
With the Cavs and Hawks being at odds right now, what better time to bring in another writer who knows a little something about the team? Don’t worry, we’ll be 100 percent unbiased (Go, Cavs, go!).
So let’s kick this thing off, shall we? It’s going to be a long series, so let’s take a look at the main aspects of what we’ll be watching. Narratives will abound and numbers will fly. Trash talk will be spouted and fists will be shaken.
Man, I love the playoffs.
Without any further ado, let’s get things rolling! Click on, true believers. The ride starts now and you don’t want to miss a second of it.
