John Wall

This is a no-brainer. John Wall is the glue of this team. Although they won a game without him, his bench presence was still entirely there. Now, he’s not just a motivator, and he’s a huge player for the team. He could lead them to a win if he can play well enough.

His left hand will be a factor. Although he’s been cleared with no restrictions, he was still wearing a glove in Game 5. It’s not been said what the plan is for Game 6, but assuming he’s still playing, he’ll have to be careful with that hand.

He won’t be able to drive to the hoop and get airborne as much as he’d like to, but he can still hit shots from midrange, and be a great facilitator. He’ll be able to have more impact being limited on the floor than not being allowed on the floor at all.

Wall is the leader of this team, and I’m excited for him to get the opportunity to lead the Wizards to force a Game 7. I’m hoping he will embrace the opportunity, show up big, and show the NBA that he is to be taken seriously.
