4. A Big Offensive Night From Barnes, Green Or Iggy

If everything goes according to plan, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson will continue shooting the lights out from deep. The Dubs don’t really depend on Bogut for scoring, but they do need decent offensive production from two members of the Harrison Barnes-Draymond Green-Andre Iguodala trio.

Last night, Green only chipped in seven points, but Barnes and Iggy took care of the offensive end, combining for 30 points on 11-of-18 shooting (5-for-8 from downtown). In the Game 4 blowout win, the three of them combined for 39 points on 16-of-32 shooting. In the Game 1 runaway victory, they combined for 35 points on 12-of-24 shooting.

But in that Game 3 loss, both Green (six points, 1-for-8 shooting) and Dre (nine points, 2-of-7 shooting) struggled to find their rhythm despite Barnes making seven of his 10 shots.

Being able to spread the floor from the small forward and/or stretch-four position is what makes the Warriors’ offense so deadly. Memphis will be throwing everything they’ve got at the Splash Brothers on the defensive end. Two members of that trio will need to knock down the open looks that come their way, particularly from the corner spot that was so effective last night.
