Heading into last night’s Game 4 at FedEx Forum, the Golden State Warriors had their backs against the wall. The 67-win juggernaut had breezed through the regular season and even the first round of the playoffs, but trailing 2-1 and playing on the road, the Dubs were faced with adversity for the first time.
After Game 4, we might be able to dispel the infectious panic that was spreading over the last week through the Bay area.
With a dominant 101-84 road victory over the Memphis Grizzlies, the Warriors essentially saved their season and seized momentum again. Stephen Curry played like an MVP, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson played well again and head coach Steve Kerr found a way to neutralize Tony Allen, the Grizzlies’ most disruptive defensive weapon.

Last night felt like the turning point of the series, easing the widespread fear that the Warriors had hit a cold streak at the worst possible time. But knowing the Grizzlies, they’re not going down without a fight.
