9. Brook Lopez, Player Option

If Brook Lopez had a clean bill of health, he’d be one of the premier free agent options in 2015. Unfortunately, he’s missed at least 65 games in two of the past four seasons.

Assuming Lopez turns down his player option and enters free agency, the Lakers should view him as he is: an intriguing option.

Lopez, 27, is a dominant offensive player who could earn more money during the summer of 2016. Due to his history of injuries, however, he could view gambling on himself in 2015-16 as too risky an endeavor.

According to Zach Lowe of Grantland, Lopez will likely enter free agency in 2015.

"Most execs expect Lopez to opt out and enter free agency after rampaging across the league over the last month."

Lopez averaged 19.7 points, 9.2 rebounds, 4.2 offensive boards and 1.8 blocks in 30 games after the 2015 NBA All-Star Break.

When healthy, Lopez is a consistently productive offensive player whose scoring prowess rates amongst the best at his position. He’s not an elite defender, but his length and strength alters shots down low.

If he can stay healthy, Lopez would be the perfect complement to Kobe Bryant.
