Nigel Williams-Goss, formerly of Washington; Eligible 2016-17 Season

2014-15 Stat Line: 15.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 1.1 steals, 44% field goals, 76% free throws, 25% three-pointers

Choosing to transfer rather than take his chances at going pro, Nigel Williams-Goss is one of the top transfers left on the market even though he’ll have to sit out next year due to the NCAA’s transfer rules. A versatile guard, Goss’ ability to score and create offense for others is a very hot commodity to have in college basketball that a number of teams could use for two years.

So far, Goss has visited UNLV and Providence and has two other teams left to visit, according to CBSSports’ Jon Rothstein:

With four teams left in the mix, there’s a lot of intrigue surrounding Williams-Goss’ decision which could come sooner rather than later. All four teams could use his services, but Gonzaga seems to be desperately in need of his services.

The Bulldogs bring in just one player in the 2015 recruiting class in Jesse Wade. However, he won’t be with the Zags until the 2017-18 season because of a mission trip he will be joining in France at the end of the month. This leaves a huge hole for Gonzaga to fill at guard, having already lost Kevin Pangos, Gary Bell Jr. and Byron Wesley.

There’s no telling which team is going to land NWG, but his services are highly sought after and he’ll make an impact on the floor no matter where he winds up.

Guess: Williams-Goss to Gonzaga
