Dylan Ennis, formerly of Villanova

2014-15 Stat Line: 9.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 36% three-point field goals, 28.1 minutes

After failing to make it past the first weekend of the NCAA tournament the past two seasons with Villanova and with the Wildcats bringing in a top point guard recruit in Jalen Brunson, Dylan Ennis decided it would be best for his college career to play elsewhere.

Ennis had a few schools on his list at first, including Duke, who could’ve used his services before their recruiting class grew, but ESPN’s Jeff Goodman says that Ennis has narrowed his list down to three:

All three schools could use his services in one capacity or another, but Ennis wants to play on the ball prominently as opposed to off of it. The team most in need of his services, however, is probably Baylor.

Baylor is known for its big men, returning Rico Gathers and Taurean Prince. However, their guards are a bit scattered right now, especially with the loss of Kenny Chery. Chery averaged 11.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.4 steals for the Bears last season.

Scott Drew has made great use of the transfer rule to supplement his backcourt with both Chery and Pierre Jackson coming by way of the JUCO circuit.

Oregon can also use Ennis’ services. The Ducks lose Joseph Young, Pac-12 Player of the Year and ultimate scoring threat. Having a proven point guard who can score and shoot the three like Ennis would make filling that void a bit easier.

Guess: Ennis to Baylor
