24. Jon Scheyer

2006-2010

Jon Scheyer was a highly coveted shooter coming out of high school, but at Duke he developed into so much more. He averaged 14.4 points and 3.1 assists per game during his career, peaking in 2010 when he scored 18.2 points per game on 38.3 percent shooting from outside.

Due to injuries and personnel issues, Scheyer was forced to play point guard during the 2010 season, instead of shooting guard. Not known for his athleticism, Scheyer turned into a very good floor general. Despite playing out of position, Scheyer helped Duke win the National Championship over Butler in 2010.

After playing professionally in the NBDL and overseas, Scheyer is now an assistant on Mike Krzyzewski’s staff at Duke.
