Duke: 30 Greatest Players In School History
30. Chris Duhon
2000-2004
Duhon started his Duke career playing behind Duke legend Jason Williams on 2001’s National Championship team. The next season saw Duhon primarily start alongside Williams, and during the 2002-03 season Duhon became the starting point guard.
Duhon averaged 8.8 points and 5.7 assists per game over four years. He was known as a clutch player and frequently knocked down big shots, most notably in 2004 when his driving layup in the waning seconds helped Duke defeat North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
After Duke, Duhon played nine seasons in the NBA. He is now an assistant coach at Marshall University.
