15. Jeff Teague (Atlanta Hawks)

The Atlanta Hawks and coach Mike Budenholzer have seemingly implemented a “rest for the playoffs” strategy for the rest of the regular season. Jeff Teague has only cracked the 30-minute mark for playing time once in his last five games, and that was in the game against the Brooklyn Nets – a game that could end up deciding if the Hawks receive a lottery pick from the Nets.

Teague’s play this week was average. He put up 16 points per game in three outings, and dished out 7.3 assists per game. His best performance was against the Nets, where he had 15 points and 12 assists, was his first double-double since Mar. 9, ending a string of 14 games without a double-double.

It is hard to really assess the Hawks at this very moment. They haven’t been consistently playing their brand of basketball for over a month, and have instead focused on remaining healthy for the playoffs, which has led to many forgetting what the Hawks are capable of. Come playoff time, they might be flying under the radar – which isn’t new to the Hawks’ fan base.
