Milwaukee Bucks: 3 Keys To Winning A Playoff Series
By Peter Myhrer
2. Winning Games 3 And 4 In Milwaukee
One thing that the Bucks have done well this season is winning at home. With two home games left to play in the regular season, the team is 22-17 when playing at home (*one win came as home team against New York Knicks in London*).
Toronto sports a 20-18 record on the road so they’re a solid team that won’t roll over if they find themselves down late in a game on the road.
The Bucks will need to play with the high energy level the team seems to possess on their best nights. A packed Bradley Center will help with this.
Milwaukee ranked fourth to last in the NBA for attendance with an average of 14,805 people attending home games.
To contrast, the Bulls lead the league with an average attendance of 21,298, which is another reason the Bucks would be better off facing the Raptors.
Anyone that has ever attended a Bucks vs. Bulls game at the Bradley Center knows how well Bulls fans travel.
Bulls fans would neutralize any perceived home court advantage that the Bucks would have in game three and four. Toronto fans don’t travel as well for obvious reasons and would allow the Bradley Center to be full of Bucks fans.
If the Bucks want any chance at all to pull out a first round upset, they will have to continue the strong play at the Bradley Center and win Games 3 and 4 of the series.
