Kyle Lowry

A first-time All-Star this season, Lowry has done his bit to keep this team in the hunt for a home draw in the first round of the playoffs. His 17.9 points ties his career high, while his 6.9 assists per contest puts him 10th in the league in that category. Lowry has all the things you look for in a point guard on a team with dreams of making it out of the East one day.

He’s a great leader, floor general and knows when to get others going or allow the offense to run through himself. He’s hard to bully off his spots on the floor, and has a great partnership with DeRozan. At 28, he’s entering his prime. In an age where having an elite point guard is almost essential to being a good team in the NBA, Lowry can more than hold his own.

Not the most athletic, quicker guards can get around him a little too easily sometimes. Nevertheless though, he is the leading light on a team that, despite their late season struggles, still looks set to grab a top four seed heading into the playoffs. His Player Efficiency Rating of 19.6 (league average 15) could be a little higher as well though.
