The Golden State Warriors are in the middle of one of the best seasons in franchise history. Led by an MVP candidate in Stephen Curry and coaching wunderkind Steve Kerr, the Dubs have the offense, defense, depth, consistency, athleticism, youth, experience and whatever other non-injury-related factor your could think of to win a championship.

And make no mistake; not only should the Warriors be favored in every playoff series they enter, but failing to win a title would be a massive disappointment for this season.
The Warriors have won three championships before, but those came back in 1947, 1956 and 1975. Hall of Fame players like Rick Barry, Wilt Chamberlain, Nate Thurmond and Paul Arizin have suited up for the Dubs, so this year’s success isn’t quite a once-in-a-lifetime spectacle.
Or is it?
After all, the Dubs haven’t had much to celebrate recently other than the “We Believe!” Warriors in 2006.
