The Schedule

No. 1 Wisconsin Badgers vs. No. 4 North Carolina Tar Heels, 7:47 PM EST, TBS

No. 2 Arizona Wildcats vs. No. 6 Xavier Musketeers, 30 minutes following conclusion of WIS-UNC, TBS

How they got here:

* Wisconsin made quick work of Coastal Carolina without coming away with the usual 1-vs.-16 blowout, winning by 14, then engaged in a tight contest with Oregon before pulling away late, coming away with the seven-point victory.

* Letting up down the stretch, North Carolina was able escape a Harvard comeback and win by two. From there, the Tar Heels took part in the game with the best overall pace against Arkansas, overcoming strong efforts for the Razorback’s top two weapons, winning by nine.

* Arizona probably had the easiest path to the Sweet 16 of these four teams in the Midwest Region, dispatching Texas Southern by 21 before taking care of Ohio State by 15.

*Chris Mack’s squad took part in two tough contests that never really felt that close. Xavier took care of business against Ole Miss to win by 19 and held off another upset attempt by Georgia State to win by the same margin.
